(Keep ALL the files together in the one folder.)

2. Double-click: Install Desktop Shortcut.bat
This puts an "DTI Suite" icon on your Desktop.

EVERY DAY
---------
Just double-click the "DTI Suite" icon on your Desktop.
You never need to open this folder again.

WHAT'S IN THE FOLDER
--------------------
Inside this program folder is a folder called:

   Templates - Edit These

It holds:
 - the blank "Asset Inventory List" Excel file - copy it to start a new job
and fill it in for that site, and
 - "Report Template.docx" - the one Word file that controls how the finished
report looks (cover, photo pages, conclusion, inventory, all in one). You
normally won't touch it - only edit it if the office asks you to.

USING IT
--------
1. Copy the blank "Asset Inventory List" from the "Templates - Edit These"
folder and fill it in for the job.
2. Click "Select Excel file" and pick that job's inventory. (Or drag the file
onto the window.) Every asset becomes a row.
3. Click "Select Photos" and pick that job's thermal photos - FLIR, HikMicro,
Fluke, Testo or Raytron. They pair to the assets automatically.
4. Double-click any photo to edit it (spots, boxes, notes). Edited photos get
a small pencil badge so you can see which ones you've done.
5. Click "Build report". The editable Word draft is saved in the job folder
(next to the inventory). Then click "Finalize" and choose where to save the
   finished PDF.

Starting the next client? Click "New job" (Ctrl+N) to clear the list and photos.
Changed something in the Excel after loading? Click "Edit in Excel", save, and
the app refreshes on its own.

Tip: save your reports and filled-in inventories somewhere like your Desktop
or a "Reports" folder - NOT back into this program folder - so the program
files stay clean.

IF IT WON'T START
-----------------
- Make sure you ran "Install Desktop Shortcut.bat" first.
- Make sure none of the files in the folder were moved or deleted.
- If you still get stuck, send a screenshot to the office.
